It was a busy weekend at Landstown High School this Saturday as the school hosted representatives from LEAD Virginia. The nonprofit organization brings leaders from all industries and all parts of the state together to learn about the state of the Commonwealth.

At the event, Dr. Aaron Spence welcomed the crowd and spoke about some of the programming here in Virginia Beach. In addition, Dale Holt, chief operations officer, served on a discussion panel, moderated by Landstown High School principal Dr. Brian Matney.

The discussion, “Helping Improve Education in the Region,” featured speakers from the Horizons Hampton Roads, ACCESS College Foundation and United Way of South Hampton Roads.
