It was a mission weeks in the making: Edward Rimarski was going to get his mom back.
For the past two years, Edward had been stationed in Germany and was inundated with emails from his mom, Amy, a kindergarten teacher at Kempsville Meadows Elementary, about when he was going to get back home.
When Edward finally did get his orders to return stateside, he kept it secret, deciding instead to make a bigger surprise for his mom. The surprises didn’t end there. Amy and Edward left Kempsville Meadows to head to Kempsville High School, where Edward got to surprise little brother, David.
