Point O’View Elementary’s Liz Griffin  recently received a commendation from the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) as an outstanding volunteer. Through her volunteer efforts, Liz Griffin has organized and coordinated workshops for music teachers throughout Virginia focusing on inspiring young children to learn and enjoy music as well as establishing a better understanding of culture, expanding creative thinking skills and developing strong leadership potential.
