Teachers share pearls of wisdom with their students every day. On Saturday, April 13, help the Virginia Beach Education Foundation celebrate innovative teaching at the Pearls of Wisdom Party – an Oyster Roast and Barbeque at 24th Street Park in Virginia Beach.

March 15 is the last day for VBCPS employees to buy their reduced-price ticket at $30. On March 16, tickets will sell for the general admission price of $40 per adult.

This all-you-can-eat buffet style event is a fundraiser to benefit VBCPS teachers by helping fund grants awarded by the Education Foundation.

Funds raised from these sales provide money to award Building Futures and Schoolwide Grants to teachers.
