Falcons soar to World Quest success

Social studies teachers from Cox High School recently competed in and won the faculty division at the World Affairs annual World Quest competition. World Quest, which is sponsored by the World Affairs Councils of America, has teams compete to test their knowledge of subjects of global importance, including current world events, geography, history, politics, flags and world leaders.

The Cox faculty team beat out members of local schools such as Norfolk Academy and Cape Henry Collegiate as well as local university faculty members from Christopher Newport University, Old Dominion University and Norfolk State University.
