Greg Duncan, nationally renowned World Languages consultant, recently directed a two day workshop for Virginia Beach language teachers. Teachers worked to create and revise the citywide Annual Foreign Language Assessments of Performance (AFLAP) for all nine languages taught in the school division.

Additionally, teams of teachers worked to develop the thematic unit curricula assessed by the AFLAP under the guidance of Duncan and VBCPS coordinator Jen Carson.

The AFLAP will be in effect this spring.
