Pembroke Elementary’s Karen Drosinos was given an Outstanding Teaching award at Penn State University’s College of Education Alumni Society Awards Banquet. Drosinos graduated from Penn State in 1998.

According to a press release from Penn State, Drosinos’s teaching style has been described as “mesmerizing and awe-inspiring as she focuses on each and every student in an atmosphere of joyous exploration.”
