Creeds Elementary celebrated its 75th Anniversary this year with a homecoming party at the school. Former students, teachers, administrators and parents enjoyed a tour of the school and a special program with stories from the past.

MaryEllen Brinkley served as chairperson of celebration. MaryEllen was a student at Creeds and and then came back to teach at Creeds for more than 30 years before retiring in 2011.

Also in attendance was Reverend Walt Whitehurst shared stories of his time as a student at Creeds and he and his wife, Betty, performed a folksong to the delight of the crowd.
