Marion Broglie, civics teacher at Lynnhaven Middle School, was named to the iCivics’s National Teacher Council.

Broglie was one of 23 teachers selected for the honor, and, according to iCivics, will help developed ” a professional community in which educators dedicated to teaching civic knowledge and skills can help one another.”

iCivics is the national civic educaiton program founded by retired Super Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
