Bayside High cheers on famous alum during Spirit Day

Bayside High School and Health Sciences Academy teachers showed their support for their former quarterback EJ Manuel at a recent spirit day.  Manuel graduated from BHS in 2008 as an All-American quarterback.

While there he participated in the SCA Mr. Bayside Pageant, was a member of the basketball team, ran Track and went on to quarterback for Florida State.  He graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Mass Media and Communications. After graduation, Manuel was the only quarterback drafted in the first round and is now the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.

  1. E.J. was a student of mine when he was in third grade. He was a fine young man from a wonderful family. Even then, he was a football star in the neighborhood league. I wish him the best and hope he becomes a positive role model that our society needs.
