Digital Learning Anchor Schools were established this year to study best practices in digital learning and device implementation.
You’re invited to see examples from this initiative as well as hear about lessons learned during the Digital Anchor School Showcase April 20, from 5:30-7 p.m. at Great Neck Middle School. Students and staff from the following 11 Anchor Schools will discuss how digital resources are engaging students and staff as well as increasing flexibility with respect to when and how learning occurs:
- Bayside High School
- Corporate Landing Middle School
- Great Neck Middle School
- Green Run High School
- Kempsville High School
- Kingston Elementary School
- Newtown Elementary School
- Rosemont Elementary School
- Strawbridge Elementary School
- Tallwood Elementary School
- Thoroughgood Elementary School
Following an opening session with remarks from Superintendent Aaron Spence, attendees will have the opportunity to visit exhibits from each school. The event is free and open to the public.
