Two of Landstown’s own named to “Ten Who Care” list

Kudos to Landstown High School Assistant Principal Paula Johnson and
Science Teacher Jeff Stewart, who were both recently honored for their community commitments as recipients of WAVY-TV’s “Ten Who Care” Award.

Landstown High School Assistant Principal Paula Johnson and Science Teacher Jeff Stewart were both recipients of WAVY-TV’s “Ten Who Care” Award.

Johnson was noted for her support of the annual “Angel Tree” project at her church, which has grown ten-fold under her direction, and her daily guidance of students on Concert Drive.

Stewart was highlighted for his volunteer work with the Virginia Aquarium’s “Mentoring Young Scientists” project, where he has accrued more than 1,000 hours of service.

Both Johnson and Stewart were recognized at a gala affair in Portsmouth on Nov.15.More information on this awards program is available at www.wavy.com.
