All VBCPS staff are invited to submit nominations for the Superintendent Spotlight Award for colleagues who exceed expectations and contribute in an exemplary manner throughout the school year. Nominations must be in by May 3, 2013.

The Superintendent’s Recognition Committee will review nominations in May, and Dr. Merrill will surprise recipients with award presentations at their work locations in June.

The Superintendent’s Spotlight Award was established in 2007 to acknowledge the exemplary work of staff members across all employee groups.  An individual may be nominated by a peer or supervisor for exceptional contributions that extend beyond the work responsibilities typically expected of an employee in his/her position.
