As some of you may know, Governor Terry McAuliffe has announced that this week, Jan. 24-30, 2016, is Virginia Principals Appreciation Week. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our principals and directors for everything they do – each and every day.

Because of their leadership and their service, our buildings run efficiently, our schools are filled with innovative lessons and collaboration and our students are inspired in their learning. Taking on this role is no small feat, and I thank each of our principals for their dedication to our students, families and staff.
