Against the blue backdrop, the giant red numbers “94.2” were hard to miss for anyone in the Princess Anne High School (PAHS) cafeteria.
Before winter break, the school’s administration set aside time for all faculty and staff to celebrate an important accomplishment. Of all 12 Virginia Beach high schools, Princess Anne had the highest on-time graduation rate with 94.2 percent for the 2014-2015 school year.
Princess Anne principal Dr. Daniel Smith used the school’s annual holiday party to celebrate the achievement. From giveaways and a special photo booth to a surprise appearance from Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence, staff members were reminded how important their work is each and every day.
