Landstown High School’s James Barger and Keith Leonard, First Colonial’s Charles Thomas and Renaissance Academy’s Joy Simone each took home the 2015 STEM Teaching Tools Award from the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Hampton Roads chapter.

According to the AFCEA, this award “is a joint effort of the AFCEA International Educational Foundation and the AFCEA Hampton Roads Chapter to promote effective STEM education by enhancing the resources available to STEM teachers in middle schools and secondary schools in the Hampton Roads area.”
