The Virginia Symphony Orchestra recently received nominations for exceptional music teachers to be recognized during the month of March for the 2015 Outstanding Music Teachers program in celebration of the National Association for Music Education’s Music in our Schools initiative.
For the second year in a row, Cox High School’s James “Aaron” Hardwick was selected as an Outstanding Music Teacher. Parents, school administrators and teachers nominated the orchestra teacher for his inspiring work he does at school and around the community
Hardwick will be honored on Saturday, March 21, with an on stage presentation at Norfolk’s Chrysler Hall by the National Association for Music Education’s “Music in our Schools” initiative.
