Kemps Landing Old Donation School’s Melissa Follin has been named a “Trailblazing Teacher” by the United States Green Building Council’s Center for Green Schools.
Ten teachers are selected twice each year from across the country, and Follin made this fall’s list. According to the USGBC, in order to be selected, applicants must “demonstrate their commitment to advance ecoliteracy and bring environmental sustainability into the classroom.”
Follin is in good company. Last year, Kemps Landing Magnet School’s Jamie Young, Kellam High School’s Christopher Freeman and Ocean Lakes High School’s Laura Wood were honored by the USGBC.
Congratulations!

Congratulations, Melissa!
