Robert Carroll, a seventh grade science teacher in the Middle Years Program (MYP) at Plaza Middle School, was awarded the Presidential Innovation Award for Environmental Educators. The award comes from the White House Council on Environmental Quality, in partnership with the US EPA. The award recognizes outstanding K-12 teachers and local education agencies across the United States who demonstrate exemplary teaching skills and innovative use of environmental education to connect students with the world around them.
