FACT: A school receives one of three accreditation ratings based Final Performance Levels:
- Accredited – Accreditation is awarded to schools with all school quality indicators at final performance levels of either one or two. Any school with a final performance level indicator of two must have their school improvement plan approved by the local School Board every two years. Any school with a final performance level indicator of two for the “all students” group must undergo an academic review.
- Accredited with Conditions – Accreditation with conditions is awarded to schools with one or more school quality indicators with a final performance level of three.
- Accreditation Denied – An Accreditation Denied rating is awarded to schools that fail to adopt or fully implement required corrective actions to address level three school-quality indicators.
