2017 Region II Conference Information

The Second Annual Region II Excellence Through Equity Conference is an opportunity for district and school leaders to continue the work that started in 2016. Along with powerful educational leaders Pedro Noguera and Alan Blankstein, we seek to pursue equity and improve the educational experience for all students. Through this conference, Region II leaders will continue to deepen their understanding and enhance plans to improve success for all students.

Equity Conference Goals

Goal 1 – Share evidenced-based best practices and approaches to equity that can be replicated in schools and divisions throughout our region.
Goal 2 – Develop a foundation for building effective relationships based on self-awareness and the lived experiences of others furthering a culture of Excellence Through Equity.
Goal 3 – Acquire and be ready to utilize resources, a process, and shared experiences from a network of educators focused on creating a culture of Excellence Through Equity.
