There\u2019s nothing like an unexpected pet appearance to liven up Zoom meetings. They\u2019ve shown up in many virtual classrooms, so much so that science teachers at Lynnhaven Middle School came up with a fun way for their sixth-grade students to introduce furry family members to their peers.<\/p>\n

The instructions were simple: Take a photo of your pet doing your homework. (Yep, it\u2019s a twist on the old excuse, \u201cMy dog ate<\/em> my homework.\u201d) Students without pets substituted stuffed animals and action figures. Everyone added their photos to an online slideshow, including teachers Allison Krebs and Trish Bruwelheide, who lapped up the adorable animal snapshots.<\/p>\n
