Additional staff will be on-site to provide online application assistance and information about compensation, benefits and substitute opportunities.

“We’re always looking for great substitutes,” said Glenn-Zeljeznjak. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to have a part-time job if you’re transitioning to the area as a military spouse, licensed teacher or interested in working as an assistant in a variety of positions within the division. And, recently retired staff are also welcome to become substitutes.”

The application and hiring process for prospective employees will be one of six information sessions offered throughout the day. Other sessions include overviews of the school division’s application and hiring process for those interested in principal or assistant principal positions, benefits, professional development programs, becoming a substitute and steps to licensure.

Expecting a large crowd, Glenn-Zeljeznjak recommends attendees register in advance.
