Virginia Beach City Public Schools was well represented at the 33rd<\/sup> Annual Great Computer Challenge March 10 at Old Dominion University. Middle and high school students from throughout the division competed in the senior division, bringing home more than 20 top awards.<\/p>\n

The junior competition, for grades kindergarten-5, will be held April 6.<\/p>\n

The Great Computer Challenge is a joint project of WHRO, the Consortium for Interactive Instruction and Old Dominion University. It is a competitive opportunity for students in kindergarten through 12th<\/sup> grade to demonstrate their knowledge of various computer applications and programming skills.<\/p>\n
