There are two days left to get discounted tickets to the annual Virginia Beach Education Foundation (VBEF) Pearls of Wisdom Oyster Roast and Barbecue. Tickets are $40 until March 1. On March 1, ticket prices will increase to $50.<\/p>\n

This VBEF fundraiser includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of raw and roasted oysters, pork BBQ, fried fish and chicken, clam chowder and beverages. There will also be free entertainment from the band Wonderland as well as a live auction.<\/p>\n

Pearls of Wisdom<\/em> will take place\u00a0Saturday, April 1, from 1-5 p.m. at the 24th Street Park at the oceanfront.<\/p>\n

Pearls of Wisdom<\/em> tickets may be purchased online at www.vbef.org<\/em><\/a>. Proceeds from the event go to support the VBEF’s teacher grant program, which this year alone has\u00a0awarded $125,000 to deserving teachers and schools in honor of the VBEF’s\u00a025th anniversary.<\/p>\n
