In April, Old Donation School (ODS) students and staff will move in to their new school building<\/a>, located on Honeygrove Road. The state of the art facility features\u00a0outdoor classroom areas, differentiated learning spaces in the hallways and classrooms, an 800-seat community theatre as well as a\u00a0black box theater.<\/p>\n

Throughout the spring, the school is hosting a number of events for the public to come and see the new building. In addition to school tours, each event will have a special performance featuring ODS students.\u00a0\u00a0All events are free and open to the public, with the exception of the school’s spring musical performance, May 12 and 13, which has a ticket charge at the door of $5. ODS serves more than 1,200 of the division’s gifted students in grades two through eight. It is also host to the division’s Elementary Dance and Arts Program. Students will begin classes in their new school, Monday, April 3.<\/p>\n
