Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) Department of Technology (DOT) in partnership with the Technical Support Staff are excited about making this happen. DOT staff has volunteered to serve as mentors to the ATC students.\u00a0The program kicked off last month with a meet and greet orientation where\u00a0students and mentors were introduced and work responsibilities were discussed.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5857\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2.jpg\" alt=\"csttstmentorsnov916-2\" width=\"4945\" height=\"2719\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2.jpg 4945w, http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2-300x165.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2-768x422.jpg 768w, http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2-1024x563.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/CSTTSTMentorsNov916-2-400x220.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 4945px) 100vw, 4945px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As part of this program, the students will have a wide range of duties including; setting up and imaging personal computers, assisting fellow students, teachers, and staff with hardware\/software issues, troubleshooting networking\/printing issues and much more.
