Due to the recent school closure because of inclement weather, several school events had to be cancelled. If you need information regarding a specific event, please ask in the comments. Below find a list of the rescheduled dates:<\/p>\n

The first-grade gifted education application deadline for parents has been extended to Friday, March 6.<\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Plaza Middle School\u2019s Pathways to Success<\/strong> night has been rescheduled for March 18.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The forensics competition<\/strong> scheduled for Feb. 21<\/strong> at Green Run High School<\/strong> will go on as scheduled.<\/p>\n

The GED exam<\/strong> will be given Saturday, Feb. 21<\/strong> at the Adult Learning Center<\/strong>.\u00a0 In addition, a community education course will also be held.<\/p>\n

The Saturday Testing of Non-Virginia Beach Students (for gifted programs)<\/strong> will still be held on Saturday, Feb. 21<\/strong> at Plaza Annex.<\/p>\n

The Information Night<\/strong> for parents of first-graders interested in applying to Kemps Landing\/Old Donation School<\/strong> has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 23<\/strong>. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Princess Anne High School<\/strong> will reschedule IB Admission Testing<\/strong> for Saturday, Feb. 28 <\/strong>as follows: Students with last names beginning A-L will test 9-11 a.m.; students with last names beginning M-Z will test 1-3 p.m.<\/p>\n

Students needing a make-up testing date other than Saturday, Feb. 21st<\/sup> or Feb. 28th<\/sup> must email Helen Cox at Helen.Cox@vbschools.com<\/a> to schedule in order to ensure adequate space.<\/p>\n
