students at Bayside Middle in friendly games of kickball, dodge ball and water balloon toss\u00a0at an end-of-year celebration and dinner.\u00a0Ninth-graders along with Bayside High School AVID students coordinated the activities.Robert Lanz, sponsor of the C-Straight group, also gave students summer homework and challenged them to stay connected to school.\u00a0 Over the summer students are tasked with\u00a0visiting the Youth Career Center at Pembroke Mall, creating a resume, completing a career interest inventory, and communicating via email with Lanz upon completion.<\/p>\n<figure
