{"id":2049,"date":"2014-06-05T15:25:31","date_gmt":"2014-06-05T15:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/?p=2049"},"modified":"2014-06-05T15:25:31","modified_gmt":"2014-06-05T15:25:31","slug":"beemer-comes-back-home-to-ocean-lakes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/beemer-comes-back-home-to-ocean-lakes\/","title":{"rendered":"Beemer comes back home to Ocean Lakes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Monday night was a big night for the seniors in Ocean Lakes High School\u2019s Math and Sciences Academy: it was the Academy Recognition Ceremony, which highlighted and celebrated the hard work of the graduating students throughout their four years.<\/p>\n<p>Who better to be the keynote speaker than one who just completed the process just a few years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Heidi Beemer, one of the finalists who have passed the first cut to be one of the first colonists on the planet Mars, is a 2007 graduate of the Math and Sciences Academy.
