\"\"<\/a>Real Life Church helped Diamond Springs Elementary School with a garden\/courtyard service project.<\/p>\n

Church members donated their time, funds and manpower. The project engaged students, teachers and community members in the creation and maintenance of a sustainable garden and functional courtyard on school grounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, healthy eating habits, and hands-on learning opportunities across the curriculum while fostering teamwork and responsibility,\u201d said Amber Bush, the school\u2019s instructional technology specialist.<\/p>\n

The school community provided mulch, soil, plants, bird feeders, educational equipment, tools and a shed. Church members came out April 5, along with members of the school’s teacher garden club, The Busy B’s, to help clean up, mulch and set up compost bins and furniture.<\/p>\n
