Dey&#8217;s first-graders adopt a leafy friend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first-grade classes at John B Dey Elementary School have adopted trees at the school. Throughout the year, the classes will go and visit their trees to make observations, mark any noticeable changes and document growth. At the year&#8217;s end, the students are going to make a digital story about the life of their tree.
