To kick off the program, McLeod, Reich, Willie Kee, Loraine Kohart, and Kathy Jeffries introduced themselves to their student and discovered their interests.<\/p>\n<p>Debra Defoor, counseling department chair, said currently she is matching 50 students with adults who volunteer to become mentors.<\/p>\n<p>Other volunteers come from Zim American Integrated Shipping Services Co., Inc., Virginia Wesleyan College, and EOD Support Unit Junior Enlisted Association as well as the faculty.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u200b<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business professionals from the Cape Henry Rotary Club visited Bayside Middle School recently to make a new friend.
