Three final eligibility application sessions are scheduled for families interested in applying for enrollment in Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) pre-kindergarten classes for the 2017-18 school year. The program is offered no cost to families for children who will be 4 years old on or before Sept. 30 and who meet eligibility criteria based on the Virginia Preschool Initiative.
The dates, times and locations for the three remaining application sessions are as follows:
- Thursday, May 25, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Meyera Oberndorf Central Library (4100 Virginia Beach Blvd.)
- Wednesday, June 7, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Meyera Oberndorf Central Library (4100 Virginia Beach Blvd.)
- Friday, June 9, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Meyera Oberndorf Central Library (4100 Virginia Beach Blvd.)
In order to be seen at a screening, applicants are required to bring a completed application and various supporting documents such as proof of residency, child’s birth certificate and income statements, among others.
